Discussion

'Formation' is the name used to build the Hebrew aleph-bet from yods י and vavs ו around a square template. It is also used to describe the progression used to build words from letters; first in 2-letter gates, then decorating the gates with a third letter in different positions to form roots, and finally joining letters, gates and roots to form longer words.
