✝️ SP Summary[edit | edit source]
“Sing to the LORD a new song” (v1) — The new song is the resurrected Word: the Gospel. It is the Word of the cross, spoken after judgment has been completed. This new teaching of peace, born from the cross, is now declared to all the earth.
- “Declare His glory among the nations” (v3) — The bride, awakened by the risen Christ, spreads the message of the cross and resurrection. She is now fruitful, multiplying as the Gospel goes out.
- “For all the gods... are idols” (v5) — False teachings are exposed. Only the Word who died and rose again (John 1:1, 14; Rev 1:18) is worthy of glory.
- “Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary” (v6) — This sanctuary is His body (John 2:19-21). Strength (the cross) and beauty (resurrection/new creation) are revealed in Him.
- “Ascribe to the LORD… bring an offering” (vv7–8) — The bride brings herself as an offering (Rom 12:1), a living sacrifice, now holy through the cross.
- “Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness” (v9) — Holiness is now made possible through the cleansing blood (Heb 10:10, 22). The fleshly bride is made spiritual.
- “He is coming to judge the earth” (vv10–13) — This is not a threat of wrath, but a revelation of righteous judgment already accomplished at the cross (Rom 3:25–26). All creation rejoices because justice has been satisfied in Him.
🔄 Gospel Retelling[edit | edit source]

As they went, the idols of men were cast down, and the Spirit-filled bride offered herself in worship. Now all creation waits for the full revealing of His righteousness, already secured at Calvary.
