With one exeption, the Hebrew word tranlated as 'money' is 'kesep'. The exception is for 'tribute money' where 'money' is not required for understanding.

Mammon is used once in Greek for money. It is a Syriac word for money. Why would Jesus use Syriac to say 'money' when there was a Hebrew word for it?

Mammon is a transliterated word from Hebrew meaning 'the believing one'. You cannot serve God and self.

Why would Nicolaitans make this error? Maybe because it makes it easier to manipulate people out of their money?
