Mk 4:26-29 []


26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

Kingdom of god = teaching

man = Christ

cast - dispensed ... taught

Seed = Word, Christ

ground = earth, adamah אדמה

Christ became incarnate.


27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

The man sleeps = Christ died

rise 'quwm' קום - finish the work after resurrection.

Night - in grace

Day - in holiness

spring alah עלה - ascend

grow - branch

The Spirit moves as he will. John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.


28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

Earth - By the working of the Spirit, those who don't understand become fruit.

blade, green shoot - אב father

ear abib אביב - father of creation revealed to man

full ears karmel כרמל - fruitful field


29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

sickle chermesh חרמש - understand ח raising up רמ of the marriage (by the Spirit) ש. Sacred חרמ marriage ש.
