'Lord' in the Hebrew is 'Yahweh' יהוה. It is not merely an acknowledgement that we serve him and he is the master. It indicates that he is the master because he is God who revealed himself as "I am". ^[1] This is missed if the Greek is not translated to Hebrew for correlation.

↑ ▸ ± Ex 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
