  9. Branch Out on TRAX Lines

Each team must send players to different branches of the TRAX system. For example:

    • Airport Line (Green Line): To Airport Station.
    • West Valley Line (Green Line): To West Valley Central.
    • Draper Line (Blue Line): To Draper Town Center.
    • University Line (Red Line): To University Medical Center.
  • Players must take a selfie or complete a task (e.g., find a specific landmark or answer a question) at their final branch destination to prove they reached it.

Final Destination: Library Square

  • From Salt Lake Central Station, teams take the TRAX Blue or Green Line to the Library Square TRAX station.
  • The first team to arrive and check in at the library wins!

Rules

  1. Teams must stick together.
  2. Use public transportation only (no rideshare or private cars).
  3. Bonus challenges (e.g., solving riddles or finding landmarks) can be added to earn time deductions.

Additional Challenges (Optional)

  1. Photo Evidence:
    • Teams must capture a photo of a landmark, sign, or unique feature at each branch destination. Example: At the Airport Station, take a photo in front of the UTA welcome sign.
  2. Mini Riddles or Tasks:
    • Each branch location includes a quick riddle or scavenger hunt. Completing these tasks deducts time from the total.
  3. Budget Management:
    • Teams are given a limited amount on UTA transit cards, requiring strategic use of funds.
