The first day of creation has a different kind of name than the other days.
God called it “Day One”. Maybe your translation says, “first day”, but it is wrong. [1] The other days are named ‘second’, ‘third’, etc. but not this one. It is not the first day. It is ‘Day One’.
It is named “Day One” because it is the whole story of the Bible in one day. Each day has different details about the story. When put together, they tell the whole story.

It is the story of all time. We are living in the Sixth Day. Christ has risen and made us one with him. He dwells within us. He has made us to be holy. He has made us to teach. We have a taste of his rest in the peace we have. We only wait to join him in the final rest.
