Proposed Creed: The Revelation of the Hidden Word

  1. We believe in the Son of God, who speaks in parables, revealing the mysteries of the kingdom to those with ears to hear. Matthew 13:10-11; Matthew 13:34-35
  2. We believe that He made known the hidden things of old, bringing forth treasures both new and old. Matthew 13:35; Matthew 13:52
  3. We confess that He taught in riddles and dark sayings, that seeing, many would not perceive, and hearing, many would not understand. Luke 8:10; Mark 4:11-12
  4. We affirm that in Him, the invisible God was made known, as He spoke of heavenly things through earthly signs. John 16:25; John 1:18
  5. We believe that His words, though veiled in mystery, were given to be revealed at the appointed time. John 16:12-13; Colossians 1:26-27
  6. We declare that those who seek understanding will be given more, and those who reject wisdom will remain in darkness. Matthew 13:12; Proverbs 25:2
  7. We proclaim that the Son of God has made known the Father, and that by His Spirit, the mysteries of Christ are revealed to those who believe. John 14:9-10; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
