Water of all kinds represent the word [1]. A mist [2] rising from the ground/earth represents general revelation. Paul say that ever since the creation of the world God has been known. [3] How would Paul have known that? He wasn't around since the beginning of the world. Do you think he might be referring to 'the Day of the understood mist?"
