📖 The Bible Comes Alive!

How the Holy Spirit Helps Us Hear God’s Voice

🕊️ It’s Not Just a Book

The Bible isn’t just a history book.

It’s alive—because it tells the story of Jesus, and Jesus is alive!

When we read the Bible, the Holy Spirit helps us understand what God is really saying.

It’s like turning on a light in a dark room—the story was always there, but now we see it clearly!

💡 The Spirit Reminds Us

Jesus told His disciples:

“The Holy Spirit will remind you of everything I taught you.” (John 14:26)

The Spirit doesn’t write new stuff. He shows us what was already there, hidden in the words!

👂 Peter Learned to Listen

One day, Peter had a vision from God.

It confused him at first… until the Spirit helped him understand that:

“The good news about Jesus is for everyone, not just one group.”

God was showing Peter something that was already true in Scripture—but now Peter saw it!

🧩 Real Clues—Not Just Feelings

When God shows us something in the Bible, it’s not just a guess.

God always uses “two or three witnesses”—that means we’ll find clues in more than one place in Scripture.

That’s how we know it’s really Him speaking!

📣 The Bible Is Alive!

“My sheep hear My voice,” Jesus said. (John 10:27) “God’s Word is alive and active!” (Hebrews 4:12)

When we read the Bible and listen with our hearts, it’s like hearing God Himself talk to us.

He’s always been speaking. Now we’re learning to listen.

💬 Final Thought

When the Holy Spirit helps us read the Bible, it’s like we get new eyes.

  • We don’t add things to the Bible.
  • We don’t pretend to hear things.
  • We simply listen for what God already put there.

And when we do, the Bible comes alive!
