CE: God planned everything—even the alphabet!
🧩 Notarikon Isn’t Making Stuff Up!
It’s Listening Closely to What God Already Said
🤔 What Does "Eisegesis" Mean?
That’s a big word! Eisegesis means:
“Putting your own idea into the Bible instead of listening to what it really says.”
It’s like reading your favorite comic and pretending your pet dog is in the story—even if he’s not!
🕊️ What About Notarikon?
Notarikon is not eisegesis.
Notarikon means we look at the letters in Hebrew words and ask:
“What did God already put here for us to see?”
We don’t make it up—we discover what was hidden all along, like finding treasure!
✨ Jesus Was Accused Too!
When Jesus taught the Bible, some people got upset!
They said, “You’re twisting God’s Word!”
But Jesus said:
“The Scriptures already talk about Me—you just didn’t see it yet!” (Luke 24:27, John 5:39)
🙋 This Happens Today Too
Sometimes people who study Notarikon get accused of making things up.
But if we follow God’s patterns and listen carefully, we’re not making it up—we’re just seeing the beautiful message He already wrote.
📖 What Are the Rules?
There are 3 special rules that help keep us on the right path:
- 🔄 Patterns in the Bible — Does it match God’s patterns?
- 👥 Two or Three Witnesses — Can we find it in more than one place?
- ✝️ It Points to Jesus — Is it part of the story about Jesus?
If the answer is “yes,” then we’re not adding to the Bible—we’re learning from it!
💬 Final Thought
Notarikon isn’t like putting stickers on the Bible.
It’s like cleaning your glasses so you can see what was already written.
When we look at God’s Word closely, we say:
“Wow! You were showing Jesus the whole time!”
