Holy and Love.
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...
1. the Word spoke and said "Let there be light!"
And He was the light, the expression of the Father's holiness in the world.
2. Then God separated the water/word. Why do we put a bowl of water down?
3. On the third day the Word made dry ground come from the water. He made grass with seed on the outside. Grass means threshing for seed. It is a picture of his birth. He is the seed of the woman.
Herbs and trees with seed on the inside. He made the grass for the cattle to eat, and the herbs for men to eat. And the tree is the cross.
Tree. Cut it down, bring it in, place in water, stays green
4. the Word spoke again and said "Let their be lights from light in the heavens".
The great star is called kowkab in Hebrew. It means the Son of God in heaven and earth is revealed to man. כוכב
The wise men in the east saw a star... the ancient prophecies told them of it. It says, "A star will rise out of Jacob".
The star is a man! Who do you think the star is? He is the star of David.
All the little lights al us. He said you are the light of the world.

Mary wrapped Baby Jesus in swaddling clothes. This is like making him a mummy. Sometimes we place garlands of thorns. These represent his love for us.

Gold - God Silver - God on earth Red - forgiveness and life through his blood Blue - judge Purple - Priest
Donkey - prophet Camel - judge Ox, dove - priest, sacrifice Horse - King
Turtle dove - Spirit descended Lamb - Christ as the word of God, who gave himself Goat - Jesus in the flesh
Cast all your cares upon the lord.
