Everyone wants a sign that God is real. You have heard that Samson had a wet fleece... oops wrong book. See Judges 6 for the story of Gideon. I bet that every one has tried that trick at least once. We look for a sign that God is real. If he would just make the fleece wet, or the book fall off the shelf.
God has offered us a sign even better than that. Don't jump ahead. I am not talking about a subjective feeling of some sort. I am talking about a propositional revelation; one using words, given to you, that is verifiable by others.
You would think this would be an exciting proposition. But the devil has worked hard to make them callous to such claims. There is a lot of fraud preceding my claim.
Popular Biblical numerology is disappointing because it is rarely produces meaning, and is not consistent. A number means one thing in one place and another in another. True Biblical numerology follows the same rules as other symbols.
The use of symbols has been polluted in the same way. True symbols mean the same thing everywhere. Symbology has been free-for-all allegory.
The interpretation of prophecy is one of the most disappointing. Every few years someone publishes a book telling of the end times.
