2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Some would have us only teach at appropriate times. Some would have us minister in English only. Some would have us only speak to the right people. Some call learning arrogance.

I explained in prison the other day, the reason we dig into the deep things. I can tell you that Jim is a wonderful guy. All you know then is that I think he is a wonderful guy. When I tell you what Jim did to make me think that, then all you know are my reasons for thinking that. But when I teach you to pick up the phone, and not only speak to Jim, but hear him, then you can discover for yourself how wonderful he is.

We have enough excuses not to share. We need not add an accusation of arrogance to it.

A man came in alone and sat at a corner table. I sized him up trying to think of an ice breaker. Nothing. The thought came "Maybe God is telling me he isn't worth the time". THAT is arrogance.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I called you here." He laughed. I shared with him things from my Hebrew studies. Why would I do that? Because God reveals himself in the details of the language he chose to use to reveal himself.

Some think that sharing the Notarikon is a deep thing. It only looks deep because you do not speak Hebrew naturally. If you were a Hebrew child, you would recognize the word-play easily.
