10 = Man in his full nature: flesh and spirit together 5 = Half β either the flesh side or the spirit side
π Genesis Pattern[edit | edit source]
Man was created on the 6th day, but:
- 5 is used to represent the division of man
- 10 is man in his full stateβa union of flesh and spirit
- Until the flesh is judged and removed, the bride remains split
- The SP task is always to separate the 5 from 5
π Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25)[edit | edit source]
Symbol | Meaning |
---|---|
10 Virgins | Full bride (man) β both flesh and spirit side together |
5 Wise | Spirit side β filled with oil (Spirit), waiting in faith |
5 Foolish | Flesh side β no oil, unprepared, present but unworthy |
Separation at Midnight | Judgment that splits the flesh and spirit |
β In SP:
- The number 10 is not flesh alone
- It is man fully formedβstill in need of division
- Just as Christ bore both natures, so the bride begins with both
βοΈ Christ as the Pattern[edit | edit source]
Christ is the perfect man:
- He took on flesh (Hebrews 2:14)
- But was full of the Spirit (John 3:34)
- At the cross, He submitted the flesh to death, rising in glory
Likewise:
- The bride (10) must be divided
- The flesh side (5) is cast away
- The spirit side (5) enters the wedding
πΎ Final Symbol Table[edit | edit source]
Number | Meaning |
---|---|
5 | Half of man β either flesh or spirit |
10 | Full man (or full bride) β with both natures present |
10 divided | A picture of judgment, separating sheep/goat, wise/foolish, spirit/flesh |
π₯ Final Word[edit | edit source]
Ten is not just flesh.
It is man fully formed, still requiring the division of flesh and spirit.
Christ shows us the pattern:
- Bear both
- Submit the flesh
- Rise in the Spirit
- Unite the bride as one new creation.
