Gate‑walk for אז
Base gate: אז
- א — He spoke / created
- ז — the bride
The Creator addresses the bride in the now‑moment. Fittingly, אז in Scripture means “then / at that time” — the instant when the word meets the bride and something new can begin.
Form | Ordinary gloss | Letter(s) added & their “voice” | How the picture grows |
---|---|---|---|
אז | “then, at that moment” | — | The spoken word reaches the bride and marks a decisive point in time. |
אזי | “then indeed” | י — new creation | The moment stretches forward: it carries the seed of a new creation. |
אזן | ear; to weigh, balance | נ — son of man | The bride now listens; the word is “weighed” in the ear of flesh. |
אזר | to gird, equip | ר — reveal | Hearing turns to action: the word reveals strength and girds the bride for service. |
אזל | to go, depart (Aram.) | ל — teach / guide | Equipped, she is sent; the word guides her going out. |
אזוב | hyssop (purifying herb) | ו — distinguish | ב — reveal |
אזובא (hyssop twig) | same root with final א | extra א re‑echoes the Creator’s voice | The purifying branch becomes a tool that re‑speaks the covenant—blood applied, heart sprinkled clean. |
Narrative thread
- אז — A moment of decision: the Creator’s word meets the bride.
- אזי — Hidden inside that moment is the spark of new creation.
- אזן — The bride listens; the word is weighed and balanced in her ear.
- אזר — Revelation arms her with strength; she is girded for the task.
- אזל — Taught and guided, she goes where the word sends her.
- אזוב / אזובא — On the way she is purified and becomes the very twig that applies covenant blood to others, re‑voicing the word that first called her.
Every step keeps the original gate אז intact; each added consonant unveils another stage in the journey from decisive moment to listening, equipping, sending, purifying, and re‑speaking the creative word.
