We are like fish swimming in a stream. We do what we do while God, like the stream, nudges us where he wills. We are in him <ref>[[Col 1:17]]  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.</ref>, and we do not see him. His work is often so subtle we are unaware of his presence and nudging. Since we cannot see or hear him <ref>[[Joh 5:37]]  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.</ref>; how can he make himself known?
