We are like fish swimming in a stream. We do what we do while God, like the stream, nudges us where he wills. Since we are in him <ref>[[Col 1:17]]  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.</ref>, we do not see him, and his work is often so subtle we are unaware of his nudging. Since we cannot see or hear him <ref>[[Joh 5:37]]  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.</ref>. How can he make himself known?
