Matt 6:28-30; Luke 12:27f.

V28: And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

- The fruits of the spirit come from the Lord- it's not our work- We are are drawn to Christ through his teaching

V29; Yet, I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed one of these.

- Not even Solomon had the privilege to understand the mystery of God.

V30: If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you- you of little faith.

Grass of the field= Christ

If that's how god works in Christ- to die on the cross- suffer the judgement then He also does a good work on his people.
