1.1b.2 Samson's thirst []

End of judgement

[1]

Samson slew a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass as a shadow of Christ judging men. Water is a symbol of the Word. When Samson and Christ were finished judging they were thirsty. His water/word was consumed and he was 'desolate'. This is a shadow of the cross. Jesus declared "it is finished". He was consumed.

Water then came from the jawbone. [Jawbone lechiy לחי - fresh, new לח creation י] When Christ was finished With judgement he gave new life.
