Knowledge of the New Testament is critical to seeing Christ in the Old. The NT is like the picture on the box of the OT Jigsaw puzzle. Jesus said it all spoke of him. Unpacking by the Spirit, what the OT prophets packed away by the same Spirit, is prophecy that is verifiable and reproducible.

When Paul said he wished that we all would prophesy; this is what he meant.

The story of the NT is so intricately woven into the OT that changes and fake books cannot be inserted.

When you can finally see the puzzle, it is obvious if there are parts that don't belong in the puzzle (OT) or if the picture on the box has been altered.

With puzzles, it is obvious when they have cropped the box picture to fit the box.
