The bald locust is a reminder of the completed work of Christ. Bot only did he complete the work of salvation, but he completes the work of showing the Father by revealing the mustery in the play. This is the primary lesson of the good teacher. The good teacher may teach us how to be good, but it is more important that he teaches us about the love of the Father.
