Summary

All of these birds were named by Adam because of the behaviors he observed. [1] God then used the names he gave to teach us about good and bad teachers, and good and bad spiritual characteristics. We learn from what God said about the animals after Adam named them. He used the riddles of the alphabet to call them something else.

The Hebrew alphabet is part of the work of Christ as he reveals the invisible Father. When God looks at us, he does not see the names we have been given by others. He sees the work of Christ in us and gives us a new name or reputation based on the works of Jesus. [2][3]

  1. ± Ge 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.
  2. ± Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
  3. ± Re 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].
