The Bible is written as two books. We are not referring to the Old and New Testaments, but to the literal record and the "mystery hidden from the beginning" ^[1]

↑ 1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
