Pp 2023-07-21 1. Only God []

1.1. Before the beginning there was only God. We have imagined that all we see is real and God permeates everything everywhere. This is wrong and inside out. SG 1.1.1
1.2. When God wanted to create, he could not put the universe outside of himself. There was nothing outside of God, because there was nothing bigger than God. "The heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee []. There was no void, and no vacuum of space. SG 1.1.2
1.3. He opened a void within himself and spoke into it. We are the void within God. [] We exist as collections of bubbles held together by the thought of God. SG 1.1.3
1.4. We can neither see nor hear him. [] God has a problem. How will he make himself known? SG 1.1.4
1.5 We are like fish in a stream. We swim about, doing what we do; oblivious to the water of the stream. Meanwhile, God, like the stream, nudges the fish where he wills. [] SG 1.1.5
1.6 To make himself known, he nudges the fish to write a fish-history. This is our literal-historical Bible. While they write it, he nudges them to observe the things he wants them to observe. He causes them to write what he wants them to write. He makes them use the precise words required to hide a second book inside the first. SG 1.1.6
1.7 Jesus said that book speaks of him, but that we must search it out. [] It is hidden in riddle. [] SG 1.1.7
