End of judgement
Samson slew a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass as a shadow of Christ judging men. Water is a symbol of the Word. When Samson and Christ were finished judging they were thirsty. His water/word was consumed and he was 'desolate'. This is a shadow of the cross. Jesus declared "it is finished". He was consumed.
Water then came from the jawbone. Jawbone lechiy לחי - fresh, new לח creation י. With the end of judgement came new life.
