For the Old Testament this is easy. Each work of scripture has a kind of a security paper that is called the mystery hidden from the beginning. It is easy to identify so that anyone wishing to confirm the book as inspired by God can do so.

Yes. To be precise there is no Bible. A bible is a comprehensive manual that describes something. There is no one Bible.

Yes. There are many collections of text called Bible. The person who rejects God and Christ because of this has fallen into the trap set for the lazy and uninformed.

Some Bibles were collected by councils of various churches. Who cares? What matters is which writings are in fact inspired by God.

For the Old Testament this is easy. Each work of scripture has a kind of a security paper that is called the mystery hidden from the beginning. It is easy to identify so that anyone wishing to confirm the book as inspired by God can do so.

The New Testament is also easy because it doesn't matter. The NT is a reference to the OT. It is a commentary of the OT through the filter of the cross. You cannot understand the NT without knowing the OT sources. All the teachings in the NT come from the OT. We would not believe a NT teaching until we understand the OT source.

So a new book pops up; should we believe it or not? We examine to see if the doctrine comes from the OT. If not, then don't listen to it. BTW, the OT says more about Christ than the NT.
