Each day []

When God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was 'tohu' and 'bohu', vain and empty. This is the opposite of 'fruitful' and 'multiplying' on the sixth day. Why do we argue about if the six days were 24 hour days or not? Jesus said it all speaks of him. Day 'Yom' means 'creation explained by the completed works of the son. Each day is a picture of how God made that which was vain and empty into that which was fruitful and multiplying. Each day tells us something about Christ.

1. light his holiness

2. Water his word

3. Dry ground his work in Genesis through Malachi

4. Lights from light - he gives us HIS holiness

5. from water/word he makes those who obey in the word (fish) and spirit (birds)

6. from dry ground - from his incarnation, death and resurrection he obtains his bride and they are fruitful and multiplying.

Search diligently []

𝐌𝐭 𝟐:𝟖 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝, 𝐆𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 [𝐡𝐢𝐦], 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨.

Jesus did not appear in a cloud... the wisemen had to diligently search for him. Are we wiser than wisemen?

𝐉𝐨𝐡 𝟓:𝟑𝟗 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬; 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞: 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞.

The rabbis who studied the scriptures still missed him. They did not search for him. Are we more learned than the rabbis?

Why do we think that casual reading of the Bible, or hearing a few verses from the pulpit are sufficient to know him? Why do we not learn HOW to search in Sunday School, Bible School or seminary?

Die - the exchange []

Previously, I have shown that the tov ת is a rosh ר with a new life springing up. It is confirmed when the word 'amar' אמר becomes truth 'amat' אמת . The truth is the finished word that gives life.

Need more evidence?

When God told Adam not to eat the fruit or he would die, the critics and skeptics all jump in: "That is rather harsh.. to kill a guy for eating a fruit." "That's not fair. How would Adam know what God was saying if there was no death in the world yet?"

The word for 'die' is 'muth' מות. As before, it is the completed form of 'mur' מור which is 'exchange'. 'Die' is the final exchange that brings life.

God told Adam that the day he ate the fruit he would surely experience the final exchange that brings life. What was that? Adam did not die, but the lamb did in his place to provide a garment of skin.

The final exchange is that Christ was made to be sin so that we would be made the righteousness of God. We also do not fear death, for the word itself tells us it brings life.
