Advent Dec 23 - Lk 2:25-35 []

± Lu 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

± Lu 2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
± Lu 2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
± Lu 2:34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

'Simeon' means 'heard the son of Man'. I think Jesus may have been crying LOL

'Consolation' contains within it the name 'Noah' meaning 'rest'. Israel has been looking for rest.

'Salvation of the Lord' Yeshua. Mine eye have seen thy [the Lord's] Salvation. Jesus

Many would fall and rise in Israel. ± Isa 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

'A sign which shall be spoken against. The only sign Jesus gave was that of his own resurrection. The cross has become the single most point of contention around the worlds.
