  1. The priest was first a prophet, to speak the word of God.
  2. ± Ex 7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

The priests were also actors. [n 1] Nothing the priests or the actors did made them good people.

  1. Their robes are called "costumes" or "garments of deceit" so that we didn't think they were the real priest (Jesus)

For us in the audience, the dietary law says nothing about what we can eat. [1] [n 1]

Since the scriptures all speak of Christ, the animals all represent Christ. Some represent him as the good teacher. Others represent him bearing the sins of the bad teacher. Notes
