± Advent Dec 14 - Lk 1:77

± Lu 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

I'll say something that will sound like heresy. Please consider it carefully.

Jesus's death did not save you. Jesus's resurrection did not give you faith.

Faith comes by hearing. Hearing comes by the word. The word comes by the teacher/preacher. The preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation.

The cross is not the power. The resurrection is not the power. The preaching/teaching of the cross is the power. Jesus did everything that he did, but if you don't know about it, you cannot have faith in it.

The issue is not if God predetermined you or not. That is a silly debate. It has no effect on your life. They have not resolved that silly argument in 2000 year.

The undeniable truth is that you must hear it to believe it. God's name, Elohim, means 'God separated rom man by ignorance'. His purpose is that we know him... AND MAKE HIM KNOWN.

Don't like the way the world is going? Have you taught someone about Christ? The world is literally dying to know him.
