Formation - The vav

The distinct Vav The vav is the "sword" of the word. It is a prefix meaning 'and'. Like 'and' it divides two things and connects them. ^[1] As a visual allegory, it looks like a sword. It indicates that there are two sides to an issue. To understand ideas, we pull them apart and put them back together. This clarifies and distinguishes the meaning.
