Skeptics claim that two creation accounts differ. This is a Balaamism. They compare Ge 1:1-2:3 with Ge 2:4-25.
Unfortunately, they have not divided the scriptures properly. The first account ends with 2:5 and the second begins with 2:6.
Others claim that there was another creation between verses 1 and 2. The pericope is complete with v1 being the introduction and the summary. Claimants must presume that verses are just a random collection of facts. The structure says the facts are intentional with an introduction to the body (v1); then details concerning the subject; ending with a summary repeating the introduction, as a bookend.. They have used myth and oral tradition to shed doubt on God's word. This is a Balaamism.
