Discussion

God created the heavens and the earth. He created in two sets of three days. [1] On the first three days God created by separating. [2]

On day one, he separated the Light from the dark. [3] [4]

On the third day he separated the dry ground from the waters and grasses, bushes and trees came sprung up. [1]

On the second three days God produced things from the things he had formed by separation. [1]

He brought forth the sun and stars from light on the fourth day. [1] [2]

The fish and the birds were brought forth on the fifth day. [1] [2]

Finally, God made animals and man from the dry ground. [1] [2]

God rested on the seventh day. [1] [2]

When he was finished, he finished his record. [1]
